Kalau Anda seorang ayah pasti sering mendengar kalimat-kalimat berikut ini: “Ayah, aku sudah mandi.” Aku sudah sudah belajar lho, Pa.” Apa aku boleh ikut abi pergi ?” Kalau bapak pulang, bawakan aku es krim ya ?” Yang menjadi pertanyaan adalah bagaimanakah respon kita saat itu ? Apakah tanggapan kita seindah binar mata mereka ? Apakah sikap kita semanis senyum mereka ? Apakah jawaban kita sebesar harapan mereka ?

Sebagai seorang ayah sungguh kita harus menyadari betapa anak-anak kita itu memerlukan senyum gagah kita. Mereka juga membutuhkan belaian sayang kita. Buah cinta kita itu selalu merindu dekapan mesra kita. Buah hati kita itu selalu menanti kecupan sayang kita di kening mereka. Yakinlah Anda bahwa tutur kata manis kita amat berarti bagi hatinya. Oleh-oleh yang kita hadiahkan begitu bermakna bagi jiwa mereka. Ketika kita mengajak mereka bepergian rasa bangga memenuhi ruang-ruang kalbunya.

Tentang buah hati kita itu, kekasih Allah, teladan kita, guru tentang cinta & kasih sayang kita, Rasulullah saw bersabda untuk kita para ayah,” Cintailah anak-anak dan kasih sayangilah mereka. Bila menjanjikan sesuatu kepada mereka, maka tepatilah. Sesungguhnya yang mereka ketahui hanya kamulah satu-satunya yang memberi mereka rezeki.” Dalam riwayat lain dikisahkan ada seorang Arab Badui yang menemui Rasulullah saw dan berkata,” Mengapakah engkau menciumi anak-anak kecil, sedang kami tidak pernah melakukannya ?” Maka Rasulullah saw bersabda,” Apakah kamu tidak takut bila Allah SWT mencabut rasa kasih sayang dari lubuk hatimu ?”

Bagi anak-anak, kita para ayah adalah pahlawan. Menurut mereka kita adalah sosok gagah yang menentramkan hati mereka. Buah hati kita itu amat bangga terhadap keperkasaan kita. Mereka begitu mendamba perhatian dan kehadiran kita. Namun mereka tak pandai merangkai kata tuk mengungkap cinta. Mereka juga tidak mengerti cara membisikkan rasa rindunya. Mereka mencintai kita para ayah dengan bahasa yang sering tak mampu kita mengerti. Mereka menyayangi kita dengan gaya yang sering tak bisa kita pahami. Karena itu kita sering tak menyadari bahwa ada makhluk-makhluk kecil yang begitu mencintai dan membutuhkan kita.

kadang susah aku jalani penuh keluh kesah akan kehidupan

meski hidup ini seakan di permainkan penuh paksaan dari diri kita,kita tetap akan menjalaninya
